Vintage Wedding Gowns Expose

THIS IS THE VICTORIA & ALBERT MUSEUM OF LONDON AS IT HAPPENS . BRIDES DRESSES ICONIC AND HISTORIC RIGHT TO HAVE THEIR EXPOSURE .
The wedding dress is entitled to this expo. And to present wedding dresses older to newer , Victoria & Albert Museum has put the dishes in the large . 3 May 2014 to 15 March 2015 , the museum will present a selection of wedding dresses whose birthdates span nearly two centuries . A nice way to trace the history of this costume if particular by leading designers in the spotlight. Christian Lacroix John Galliano through Vivienne Westwood and Vera Wang , these are exceptional creations for the public to discover.

The exhibition will also feature famous pieces as the wedding dress of the Duchess of Corwall aka Camilla Parker Bowles or that of Dita Von Tesse and Gwen Stefani. Scenography will learn more about the history of these dresses and stylistic motivations of women who wore them .

The opportunity to revisit the history of the wedding dress (which has not always been white ) , its symbolism and its evolution through the ages . Of lace, traines , tulle and corsets, we are preparing to be amazed . The only downside: the fare Eurostar .
